Prem Lamichhane, Founder/Chairperson
Prem Lamichhane is an Ex-Student of Budhanilkantha School (BNKS), currently doing Master at Sciences Po, one of the world’s top School in Paris.
He holds experience of working at different organizations such as UNYSAN (United Nations Youth and Students Association Nepal), Sarswati Peace School, KOSELI, Sonrisa Orphanage Nepal, WNSCO (Worldwide Nepalese Students Organization), etc.
He has won awards for Creative writing, Literary mind, Sustainable Dream, etc. He has been personally featured on Kantipur, Republica, Zest Media and Image, Reeyaz and & AirVoice Radio with interview and other coverage.
Dinesh Thapa, Vice-Chairperson
Dinesh Thapa is graduate student of Kathmandu University (KU) majored in Development Finance. He has several years of working experience in different NGOs in Nepal including ACR (Action for Child Right Int’l). He is an emerging youth activist who believes in youth as a future of the country and youth should be given meaningful participation in decision making process of the country and to bring societal transformation in the country. His areas of interests are human rights, social justice, rights of working children and community development.
Sujit Adhikari, Secretary
Sujit Adhikari is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree in the field of Business, Accounting and Entrepreneurship at the University of Mississippi in USA. He is currently leading a business project in the USA. His business model is so convincing that his model has already been awarded by the University of Mississippi as the Best Business Model of 2016.
While his stay in Nepal, he led several innovative Cheers Nepal’s programs like Cheers Talk and Cheers Pro. He says, “We cannot expect any form of societal changes unless youth proactively participate.”
Nabina Dhami, Treasurer
Nabina Dhami is a current student of ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountant) and Bachelor in Business Studies.
She has been actively working in the Social field for past two years. She started her early career as active member of Cheers Nepal and she is currently serving as a treasurer in Cheers Nepal. She enjoys volunteering, activism and travelling.
Rajendra Khanal, Executive Member
Rajendra Khanal is a graduate of Tribhuvan University who absorbed Science as a career after majoring in Computer Science and Information Technology.
Rajendra is interested in programming, specifically Java domain. He would like his career to revolve around programming, which he fondly call “the art of codes”, who believe in the power of codes to induce change personally and globally. The capacity of codes to make people happy has impressed him very much. To him, codes are algorithms, alike maths, wherein one has to master and know a workable formula to deliver the right application.
He dedicate himself in providing help to friends who are having a difficult time in programming their projects, databases, or any programming requirements. He provide efficient tips and tricks that help his friends develop their programming skills or even discover their hidden ideas in coding. It is his vision for all people to once again appreciate the art of coding. With the rapid development of technology, young people are challenging this skill. It is his mission to help friends ignite up and truly articulate what they are thinking to code.
Jyoti Karki, Executive Member
Jyoti Karki is a current student of Business Studies Management who enjoy learning new things, communicating different people and doing challenging jobs. She holds experiences of involvement in different programmers, seminars and other social activities. She is a quick learner and can lead anyone with a positive attitude towards positive direction. She currently works at Mountain Club Tours as Guest Relation Officer (GRO).
